ONCE AGAIN: With yet another fashion week round the corner, the stage was set for model auditions for WIFW Spring/ Summer 2010.
While the auditions had 55 participants, only 13 made it after two rounds of selection. The jury comprised Rahul Khanna, Namrata Joshipura, Sunil Sethi,Vinod Kaul, Aparna Behl, Anjana Bhargav and Laxmi Rana. Although Aparna Behl turned up late, she and Rahul played perfect critics asking several models to repeat their walk or try different hair styles.
FIRANG ISHTYLE: Amongst the chosen 13, nine of them were firang ones. Explaining this, Laxmi said, ���This time we���ve paid more attention to the walk and the height. We���ve taken special care to ensure that the models are of the same height.���
MINI MUMBAI HERE: Of all the models, a sizeable number were from Mumbai and they preferred to hang out together. ���Me and my friend Sherin have planned to stay back for few days to go around the city and have a look,��� said Aeshra. Pallavi came despite running a temperature. On the other hand, Talia, said that she had forgotten the dates and it was thanks to her sister that she turned up. Arshita was selected, but due to some confusion, her name was not called out the first time around. She was called back in time for the second round. But by then, she had already left the venue and she made it back just in time.
